Isaiah 43:25-28

Yesterday I looked at a couple of verses where God commands us to forget the past and not dwell on it.  As I conclude chapter 43, the words of verse 25 are sweet music to my ears:

25 “I, even I, am he who blots out
your transgressions, for my own sake,
and remembers your sins no more.

God blots out our transgressions and remembers our sins no more – for His own sake.  The reality that our sins are forgiven is amazing enough.  To know that He blots them out and never again remembers them for His own sake absolutely amazes me. It moves me to tears.  Thank you, God.
