Welcome to a new addition to this conversation.  Hopefully this will generate some thought and conversation for all of us.  Each Thursday I’ll pose a new question for each of us to think about and respond to.  We can even respond to each other as we hear what each person has to say in answer to the question that’s thrown out there.  So, to get us started, here’s one out of the book I’m currently reading, “The Gospel According to Starbucks” by Leonard Sweet.

If you could get together with just one person from history for coffee and conversation (other than Jesus), whom would it be?  Why that person?

  1. Bill Pederson says:

    Abe Lincoln

  2. Pastor Rich says:

Martin Luther. I’ve always been amazed at several aspects of this man. First, his commitment to the study of the Word of God. Second, his boldness and tenacity to stand for what was right and what Scripture taught regardless of the pressure and trials he would face as a result. Third, because he changed the face of Christianity.
