July 3, 2009Isaiah 55:11-13
As Isaiah wraps up this chapter, God’s words are full of life and celebration. He says, “You will go out with joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.” Why will this be? Because God will deliver. Because He keeps His promises and His word. And because of that, we can celebrate! And we celebrate as we give God glory. Verse 13 says, “This will be for the LORD’s renown.” It is all about God.
